download and install the latest iPod updater and help guide. If you cannot
cure the problem with these, your options depend on whether the iPod is
still covered by the Apple Limited Warranty /
AppleCare or not. |

check the iPod ourselves for hardware faults, and
arrange for a replacement. This will normally take 2 or 3 days. |
