Portable Appliance Testing (PATS) can form the basis of a maintenance regime for electrical equipment used in the workplace. It assists managers and other responsible persons to meet the obligations imposed on them under the various Safety Regulations.     In common with other organisations, we use the       Institute of Electrical Engineers Code of Practice as a guide when inspecting and testing appliances.
